GENERAL SESSIONS
 
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
No need to stress — I’ll guide you every step of the way! I focus on natural posing and candid moments, so your photos feel genuine and relaxed. You don’t need any experience — just show up, be yourself, and I’ll handle the rest. Before your session, I’ll share simple tips on what to wear and how to prepare so you feel confident and comfortable.
How long and where are sessions?
My photography sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at another meaningful location that fits your vision. I also offer recommendations for beautiful local spots with great lighting — perfect for family, maternity, or lifestyle photography. Mini sessions last about 30 minutes, while full sessions are around an hour, giving us plenty of time to capture a mix of posed and candid photos that feel natural and timeless. Its good to book 2-3 weeks in advance, but I will take smaller sessions last minute.
can i include pets in my session?
Absolutely! Pets are family too, and I love including them in sessions. Just let me know ahead of time so I can help plan accordingly.
what happens if the weather is bad?
I keep a close eye on the weather forecast in the days leading up to your outdoor session so we can plan ahead. If it looks like rain or harsh conditions, I’ll reach out to discuss options — whether that’s rescheduling to a better day or moving to an indoor location. Communication is key, and I’ll always make sure we’re on the same page so your session goes smoothly and your photos turn out beautifully.
Can you help me plan creative or themed sessions?
Yes! My Stylized Sessions are designed for exactly that — artistic, imaginative photo experiences. We’ll schedule a short pre-session meeting to dream up concepts, locations, and costumes so every detail fits your vision.
What should we wear?
I’m always happy to help with outfit coordination! Neutrals, soft tones, and simple patterns tend to photograph beautifully. Once you’re booked, I’ll share tips to help you plan your wardrobe so it matches the season, location, and overall aesthetic.
