How do I book my birth photography session?

This is a paragraph. Click edit and enter your own text. You can make changes like making the text bold, underline or italic. This is a great place for you to tell your clients more about your story and to describe the type of photographer.

Where do you photograph births?

I photograph births in homes, hospitals, midwife centers, and even during c-sections (when permitted by medical staff). Wherever you choose to bring your baby into the world, I document your story respectfully and unobtrusively — honoring the space, the process, and your privacy.

What happens if I go into labor early or late?

Babies follow their own timelines — and I’m ready for that! I stay on call around your due date, keeping communication open so you can reach me anytime labor begins. I always aim to arrive when active labor is established and stay until after your baby’s first moments earthside.

How do you handle lighting in darker birth settings?

Births often happen in soft or dim light, and I’m fully equipped to photograph beautifully in low-light conditions. I do not use flashes and have a quiet shutter camera specifically for births, I am to be the fly on the wall documenting without any interference. I can work in any lighting and space.

You will be given a completely private password protected online gallery for your photos. there will be a consent form for any photos used for social media purposes and a contract specifically stating what can and cant be used. If a c-section becomes necessary and photography is permitted in the operating room, I’ll document those moments just as tenderly. If restrictions apply, I’ll continue photographing before and after the procedure to capture your baby’s first meeting and the emotional moments that follow.

Will my photos be private?

Will my photos be private?

Definitely — I am not a medical professional and I am only there to capture moments during the birth. I love capturing the connection between everyone who supports you during birth. Those quiet gestures, shared looks, and hands held are some of the most meaningful parts of your story.

Do you photograph stillbirths or loss?

Yes, with immense care and compassion. If you are facing a loss, please reach out — I offer sensitive, private coverage to honor your baby and your story in a way that feels right for you.
